Our Wyatt PTA consists of parents and school staff who work together to support and enrich the lives of all Wyatt Elementary School students. Wyatt parents, teachers and staff agree that parental involvement in education is a critical element for success in school. Our PTA functions as a liaison between staff and parents to ensure open communication and understanding.

Our Wyatt PTA provides opportunities for parents to participate in the life of the school. It sponsors social events to bring parents, teachers and families together and to enhance the sense of community. It provides parent education programs throughout the year. Our Wyatt PTA also offers a parent education library with over 200 books that are available for check-out to all parents at Wyatt.

Our PTA welcomes the involvement of all community members who want to support the education of our youngsters. Here are just a few ways you can help:

bulletjoin a committee to plan a parent education program or a social event

Membership in the Wyatt PTA is open to any adult in the school community. New members are always welcome. Membership forms are available in the back-to-school packet as well as in the school office, or you can contact Deirdre Wilson, PTA President.

An Executive Board composed of 17 elected parents, our principal and one staff member meets monthly to guide the PTA programs and budget. General PTA meetings are generally held in the Wyatt gymnasium six times during the school year. Look for these posted dates in the Roo Review, the Wyatt website Calendar, and Wyatt eNews. All parents and staff are encouraged to attend these meetings.
